Mamani Sarees was established in the year of 2026, at Fulia, Nadia, (West Bengal, India), as an E-Commerce Platform.

Pintu Kumar Basak, born on 22 October 1979 in Fulia, Nadia, West Bengal, hails from a traditional weaver community renowned for its rich handloom heritage. Growing up amidst looms and craftsmanship, he developed a deep understanding and respect for textile artistry from an early age.

He completed his Madhyamik education in 1996 and began his professional journey in the textile field in 1999. Over the next several years, he built his career as a textile designer, gaining extensive practical knowledge in weaving, fabric development, and design innovation.

His professional experience spans across multiple respected organizations and regions. He worked for around ten years with Tangail Tantujibi Unnayan Samabay Samity Limited in Fulia, Nadia, where he gained strong expertise in cooperative handloom production. He further expanded his experience internationally by working for approximately three years with Tara Oriental in Kathmandu, Nepal. Later, he worked with Tashi Lehndsup Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata for about a year, adding to his exposure in the organized textile sector.

To strengthen his technical and creative skills, Pintu Kumar Basak earned a Diploma in Textile Design in 2016 from Himalayan University, Itanagar. This formal education complemented his years of hands-on industry experience.

With nearly two decades of dedication as a textile designer from 1999 to 2017, he stepped into entrepreneurship by establishing RGC Fashion in 2017. The venture focused on manufacturing and wholesaling handloom sarees and dress materials through e-commerce platforms, aiming to connect traditional craftsmanship with a broader market.

Continuing his commitment to the handloom sector and artisan community, he registered Gyanmohan Handloom Producer Company Limited in July 2024, further strengthening his role in organized production and community-driven growth.

In 2026, he launched Mamani Sarees, a retail brand with its own online platform, designed to directly reach customers and offer authentic, high-quality handloom sarees. This venture represents the culmination of his lifelong experience, vision, and dedication to preserving and promoting traditional Indian textiles.

Today, Pintu Kumar Basak stands as a self-made entrepreneur and textile professional, whose journey reflects perseverance, skill, and a deep-rooted commitment to the handloom industry. Through his work, he continues to support artisan communities while bringing timeless craftsmanship to modern consumers.
